Soundproof Vocal Booth

The HEMU Acoustics Soundproof Vocal Booth is purpose-built for vocal performance capture. The dual requirement for vocal booths — keeping external noise out while absorbing internal reflections — is addressed by our composite wall system (STC 42) and high-density melamine foam panel interior (NRC 0.95).

The result is a background noise floor below NC-20 and a near-anechoic interior frequency response from 200 Hz upward. A vocalist or voice actor using a large-diaphragm condenser microphone will achieve clean, room-correction-free recordings without post-production treatment.

Internal dimensions of 1.2 m × 1.2 m provide comfortable standing room with a microphone stand and pop shield. A cable pass-through port (50 mm diameter, with rubber seal) routes XLR and power cables without air leaks. An optional internal acoustic window (600 × 400 mm) allows sight-line communication with a producer or recording engineer.

The flat-pack panel system assembles in 30 minutes with cam-lock connectors and can be fully disassembled and relocated. Available in standard acoustic foam grey interior or custom coloured perforated fabric lining for a professional studio aesthetic.
