Overview

Energy efficiency regulations now mandate noise labelling for household appliances across the EU and many other markets. HEMU Acoustics supplies the test infrastructure that white-goods manufacturers and HVAC OEMs depend on for R&D, QC, and certification. Our semi-anechoic chambers provide the hemi-free-field reference surface required by ISO 3744 for sound power measurement, while our reverberant rooms support ISO 3741 reverberation methods. Large-format load-bearing floors accommodate refrigerators, washing machines, and industrial fan arrays.

Key Features

Hemi-Anechoic Reference Surface

Precision-levelled reflective floor with wedge-lined walls and ceiling. Measurement surface errors < 1.5 dB across the test volume. Satisfies ISO 3744 Grade 2 requirements.

Reverberant Test Rooms

Diffuse sound fields for ISO 3741 sound power and ISO 354 absorption measurements. Rotating diffuser panels and calibrated reverberation times from 250 Hz.

Heavy-Load Floor Systems

Vibration-isolated floating floors with reinforced concrete rated to 5 t/m². Forklift access doors for moving large appliances and fan rigs.

Production-Line QC Integration

Compact in-line acoustic enclosures for pass/fail noise testing at the end of the manufacturing line. Automated door, conveyor interface, and data logging included.
