End-of-Line QC & Production Noise Screening

Noise Test Enclosure

Modular noise test enclosures for rapid acoustic screening on production lines and in laboratory settings. Designed for incoming QC, end-of-line noise checks, and product functional testing where a full anechoic chamber is unnecessary.

Vue d’ensemble

Noise test enclosures sit directly on or beside a production line, enabling every unit to be screened for abnormal noise signatures without disrupting throughput. Unlike dedicated test chambers, these enclosures are optimised for cycle time and repeatability rather than free-field conditions — making them the standard solution for motor, pump, home appliance, and power tool QC.

HEMU Acoustics noise test enclosures use a modular panel system with click-locking steel frames. Standard panels achieve 20–35 dB insertion loss; high-performance double-skin panels achieve up to 40 dB. Hinged access panels and removable sections are designed into the enclosure for routine maintenance without full dismantling.

The enclosure is sized to clear the machine by 150–300 mm on all sides, enabling natural convection cooling for most applications. For high-heat applications, ventilation packages with acoustic attenuators are integrated into the enclosure design. All cable and hose penetrations are sealed with acoustic putty collars.

ATEX-certified variants are available for machines in hazardous areas (Zone 1 and Zone 2). Panels are manufactured in chemical-resistant powder-coat finish as standard, with stainless steel available for food, pharmaceutical, and marine environments.

Caractéristiques clés

Modular Panel System

Steel frame with infill panels. Panels click-lock in place without bolts. Full enclosure assembles in 2–4 hours. No specialist tools required.

Hinged Maintenance Access

Pre-designed hinged panels and lift-off sections for routine maintenance points. Acoustic seals maintained at all access points.

Thermal Management

Natural convection sizing standard. Forced ventilation package with inlet/exhaust attenuators available for high-duty-cycle or high-heat machines.

ATEX Variants

Zone 1 and 2 ATEX enclosures with explosion-proof lighting fixtures and intrinsically safe temperature monitoring.

Chemical-Resistant Finish

Epoxy powder-coat for standard industrial use. 304/316 stainless steel panels for food processing, pharmaceutical, and offshore marine applications.

Custom Configuration

Enclosures designed to machine footprint with all penetrations, control panel cutouts, and access requirements incorporated in the factory model.
