Overview
The acoustic office booth fills a critical gap in the office privacy spectrum: too large for a single phone booth, too small to justify a full meeting room. At 140 × 120 cm exterior footprint, the HEMU Acoustics Soundproof Office Booth seats two people comfortably side-by-side or face-to-face, with a 120 cm worktop integrated into the design.
The 30 dB DS,A speech level reduction (tested to EN ISO 23351-1) ensures that a two-person conversation inside the booth is inaudible to colleagues outside. Conversely, conversations outside the booth are reduced to background-level noise inside, enabling genuine concentration.
Motorised ventilation (36 l/s / 130 m³/h capacity) handles the increased CO₂ load of two occupants. The ventilation system operates at below 40 dB(A) inside and uses an automated CO₂ sensor to maintain air quality without manual fan adjustment. An integrated touch controller on the door frame allows occupants to adjust lighting and airflow.
The booth ships in four panels and assembles with snap-lock joints in under 45 minutes. No floor anchoring is required. Integrated LED strip lighting (850 lux) provides consistent illumination for video calls and reading. Multiple power outlets and USB ports are integrated on both side walls for flexible device charging.

Dual-occupant ventilation capacity of 36 l/s (130 m³/h) maintains CO₂ below 1,000 ppm with two occupants. EC brushless motor fan operates at below 40 dB(A) at full airflow — quieter than a whispered conversation. Automatic speed control via integrated CO₂ sensor.
Integrated 120 × 55 cm Worktop
Full-width integrated worktop accommodates two laptops, two monitors, or a combination of devices. Cable management channel routes power cables under the desk surface. Optional monitor arm mount brackets available.
850 Lux Dimmable Lighting
Dual 4000 K LED light strips deliver 850 lux at desk level — meeting ISO 8995-1 requirements for display screen work (500 lux minimum). Stepless dimmer on touch controller adjusts from 10% to 100% without flickering.
Four Power Outlets and Four USB Ports
Two side-wall power panels each carry 2× universal outlets (100–240 V), 1× USB-A fast-charge (18 W), and 1× USB-C Power Delivery (65 W). Sufficient for two laptops and two mobile devices simultaneously.
45-Minute Snap-Lock Assembly
Four panel assembly with tool-free snap-lock joints. No drilling, screws, or adhesive required. Two people complete assembly in under 45 minutes from carton open to door closed. Identical procedure for disassembly and relocation.
