Overview
Open-plan offices generate constant acoustic conflict between focus work and collaborative discussions. The HEMU Acoustics Two-Person Work Pod provides an STC 40 (Rw 40 dB) acoustic barrier — reducing conversational noise by over 99% and ensuring speech confidentiality for sensitive discussions.
The 2.4 m × 1.6 m interior footprint accommodates two workstations side by side or a small meeting table for face-to-face collaboration. The standard configuration includes a built-in desk surface, two ergonomic seating positions, and a 55-inch monitor mounting rail on the end wall.
Dual-zone silent ventilation maintains fresh air exchange above 50 m³/h for two occupants, with noise levels below 38 dB(A). The system automatically adjusts airflow based on CO₂ sensor readings. Four universal power outlets, USB-A/C fast-charge ports, and a Cat6 data pass-through are included as standard.
Full-height glass panels on the door and front wall maintain visual openness and natural light while providing complete acoustic separation. The double-wall glass construction (two 6 mm panes with 12 mm air gap) extends isolation to the glazed surfaces. Available in white, black, or custom RAL finishes.

Two independent EC motor fans with acoustic baffles. An integrated CO₂ sensor automatically adjusts fan speed to maintain air quality above 800 ppm for two occupants without user intervention.
Double-Glazed Vision Panels
Two full-height glass panels (door + front wall) with 6 mm + 12 mm gap + 6 mm construction. Maintains visual connection and natural light while extending acoustic isolation to the glazed areas.
Integrated Collaboration Technology
Built-in 55-inch monitor mounting rail, four universal power outlets, USB-A/C charging, Cat6 data passthrough, and optional wireless charging pad surface.
Modular Expansion
Acoustic connector system allows two-person pods to be joined with phone booths or meeting pods to create larger quiet zones without additional wall panels.
